Newborn Session: The ideal time frame to have a session for a newborn is when they are 5-16 days old. During this session; they are tiny, look fresh and in a sleepy state most of the time.
Alternative Newborn: The alternative newborn session can take place when the baby is 6 weeks old. This is the time they start smiling and are more alert. Unlike the newborn session, we can have photos where they smile and pose with their eyes open.
First Milestone: The ideal time for the first milestone session is when the baby is 3 months old. Babies usually hold their heads up at this stage and may do mini push-ups. They also start smiling, laughing and rolling. So they interact better with the camera.
Second Milestone: When a baby is 5-6 months old, this is the time for the second milestone session. At this stage, your baby is becoming more social, starts to play with hands and toys. And most importantly starts to sit without support. That’s why this is also called the “Sitter Session”.
Third Milestone: You can have the third milestone session when your baby is 9-10 months old. This is a good time to shoot some frames as your baby is starting to crawl. They also begin to pull themselves up, so these would make perfect poses.
Fourth Milestone: Your baby is 12 months old. This is the one year birthday. Also called the “Cake Smash Session”. Your baby is taking the first steps around this time frame and it is time to have the fourth milestone session.
